I might to have to get it checked out as it's usually very sharp and doesn't distort quite this much but on the other hand there's an awful lot of straight lines in the frame, many in the out of focus areas which will advertise any problems. As an aside it's also my first foray into DSLR scanning, seems to be working well and it's super fast compared to a flatbed.
