There's something about the atmosphere of this shot that I just really like; the quiet in the middle of the big city.
Half the joy of film is that sometimes your images just come out mostly preedited, this is one of those times. The three roofs provide a nice geometric pattern and then the film had the range to also capture the detail in the sky.
I was taking some long exposures at Asakusa to get the whole busy crowd feel when fortunately this man stopped and stood still in the middle of the crowd giving me a completely different and much better shot to that which I expected.
Nice clean lines and reflections here, coming just after sunset as I was trying to finish off the roll of film I had in the Trip 35.
