I like the range of tones and the backlighting here, plus the depth with the mountain in the background.

From Stanley Park.

It would've been nice if more of the lights had been working when the fog hit. As it was it was rather a problem trying to find something where there weren't dead lights spoiling nice leading lines.
Meadows Fog
Textures all the way here; it's the sign for a nightclub. If they could've put their security camera somewhre else that'd have been ideal.
Gorg-o-Mish
Tungsten light, sunset light - they can both work with CineStill.

It was the lighting that initially made me notice this scene (casting shadows on the opposite sides of the faces), then this moment where the two women were looking away from each other.

I'm not convinced this has that much to recommend it in general beyond demonstrating how the grain from Delta 3200 is much less apparent in medium format but it's quite personally meaningful.

Rain reflections
The wall was very monochrome and textured while the greenery very much neither.
Wet Wall
This is the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, BC. The shapes of the concrete frame of the museum are designed to reference the traditional architecture of the first peoples, on who's land the museum is built. On a rainy day like the day this photo was taken the textures in the concrete come to life.

This is all the pose and the colour contrast; focus isn't quite right but that doesn't really matter at all.
