The sand has pretty much swallowed the wall these stairs take you over on the beachfront at Kujikuri, just leaving textures and geometry.

There's something about the atmosphere of this shot that I just really like; the quiet in the middle of the big city.

I was taking some long exposures at Asakusa to get the whole busy crowd feel when fortunately this man stopped and stood still in the middle of the crowd giving me a completely different and much better shot to that which I expected.
This kind of shot of a dark figure walking through a light square has been done a million times before; I'm sure it's even been done from this spot before. Nevertheless I'd not done it before so here we are.
